Becoming an EcoGamer

Playing a part

There’s plenty you can do to be an ecogamer. Reading our guides[Link] is a great place to start, and making good decisions about what to play and how can make a huge difference to your carbon footprint.

But being an environmentally friendly gamer, also means being an environmentally friendly person, however you spend your time. From changing what you buy and how you travel, to eating differently and voting with the environment in mind.

We know that getting green can seem like a daunting task. You don’t have to do it all at once, and changing small things can make a big difference. But if you’re wondering where to start, here’s a list of the top ten things to focus on from the good people at WWF to get you started.

And if all that doesn’t feel like enough, donating to environmental organisations can lead to genuine, positive change and a better future for us and our environment. There are plenty of charities out there who are worthy of your support, but here’s a few that we think may just be worth your time (and money):

  1. WWF
  2. Global Greengrants Fund UK
  3. Trees for Cities
  4. Green Alliance
  5. Trees for Life
